Barney and Bella began with a simple idea, to create a thoughtful space for little ones and the people raising them.
What started as a carefully chosen collection of baby gifts and essentials has grown into something bigger, a brand shaped by motherhood, storytelling, comfort, and connection.
Founded by Kirsty, Barney and Bella was born from a love of beautiful, practical things for the early years, and a desire to create products and experiences that feel gentle, meaningful, and full of heart.
Today, Barney and Bella brings together thoughtful gifting, little essentials, illustrated characters, and the beginnings of a wider world rooted in Belle Rose Cottage.
At the heart of that world are Barney, Bella, and Louie, characters created to bring warmth, wonder, and comfort to storytime, while gently helping children explore emotions, feelings, and the world around them.
Their adventures begin in The Tales of Belle Rose Cottage, with many more stories still to come.
Alongside the stories, Barney and Bella is also growing into Nurtured, The Motherhood Guide, a calm and supportive space for pregnancy, new motherhood, and the early days, built from real experiences and trusted insight to help mums feel reassured, informed, and confident in trusting themselves.
Looking ahead, the long-term vision for Barney and Bella is The House of Barney and Bella, a world families can one day step inside, where stories, thoughtful shopping, motherhood support, and immersive play come together in real life.
